Sylvain is Born in France in 1972, and started to discover Photography at the university, while he was traveilling abroad for trainingships. He spend 1 year in USA (Norht Carolina) and after a Master of american civilisation, he moved to Vienna (austria) for his military duty. He started then to discover eastern Europe culture.
During these years, he brought a 6*6 format camera, which was a big change in the way of approaching photography.
He is concentrating now in understanding the culture difference between a more uniform and consumerist world and its impact on the 'root culture' in every country.
